Section 1 - Members Information.
1.1 You may register with either your real name, or a nickname. Nick names like dookiee, loki Mafia, GangsterBoy, guki, pinki , tankoo types are not allowed. Nick name should be a Valid Human Name.
1.2 Do not use fake email addresses to register.
1.3 Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
1.4 Do not impersonate any user. This will result in banned.
1.5 Do not use offensive nick Those Nicks will not be accepted by the admins.
Section 2: Guidelines for DOT Forum members.
2.1 STRICTLY no slander against Allah (SWT), Ambiya Alaihis Salaam,Prophet Mohammad(SallAllahu Alaihi Wa Sallam) and his Companions , RizwanAllahi Ta3la Alaihim Ajma3een, Khulafa-e-Rashideen,nowadays and previous scholars of Islam. This is an Islamic forum and thus Islam will be respected.
2.2 We have great respect for the Hanafi, Shafii, Malikee and Hamblee fiqh as well , No Slander against any of the fiqh and do not criticize any of them.
2.3. When discussing issues dealing with Islam, please support your comments with the Quran or Sunnah. Mocking any Quranic reference, Hadith, scholar, or member will not be tolerated. If you are stating something about a religion, please list your source. If it is an opinion, please state this fact..
2.4 No personal attacks against forum moderators. If you disagree with an action taken by a moderator, you can send your complaint via PM to the moderator.
2.5 Do not post the same thing to multiple forums, they will be removed. Use of upper case and bold/large (font) is not permissible for the whole of the message body. However, these may be used to add emphasis to words or phrases contained within your message.
2.6 Do not post any contents that is unlawful (haram), harmful, abusive, tortuous, vulgar, libellous, hateful, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice. Materials that are explicit in nature or pertaining to sexuality will not be tolerated - even when the purpose is genuine.
2.7 Respect the opinions of others. If you have a contrasting opinion, please state it simply and clearly. When discussions turn to long, hostile arguments, the thread will be closed or removed.
2.8 Readers or Juniors Members are not allowed to advertise their own site or post any “new site”.Such threads/posts will be deleted. DOT Forum reserves the right to edit out any site/add any site to the word filter. No commercial advertising is permitted.
2.9 Abuse will not be tolerated. No foul languages against any Admin, DOT Forum Moderators or other members. Directly attacking another member will result in a warning. If the behavior persists, you will be banned.
2.10 Members who are strictly outside the fold of Islam (eg.Qadiyani’s and Shia’s) are welcome to join and participate but you may not encourage or promote your opinions or beliefs.
2.11 Avoid cross-posting and off-topic posting. If you cross post, or spam the forum, your posts will be removed and you will be contacted for violating the forum rules. Participating in discussions with multiple user names to make it appear as if there are different individuals and not one(and the same) person, will be regarded as deceit and such User names will be blocked permanently.
2.12 Please do not flood the forum with random long postings that are impossible to read.
2.13 Discussion of illegal activities are not allowed. Any posts that encourage illegal intent will be removed and and this is reason for immediate banning.
2.14 Video/TV links are not allowed. Avatars should not contain faces, images related to movies, musicians etc.Such Avatars will be removed. This also applies to any photographs or pictures in signatures or in thread postings.
2.15 If any board member is found inadequate in observing any of the above rules, he/she may be prompted once, twice, or thrice by the moderators before denying him/her all access to discussion boards in the future..
2.16 Your participation in discussion forums is a privilege and not a right. "Free Speech" here means that you dont pay for speaking your mind as opposed to any other belief(s) you might have. We reserve the right to remove any comment or comments that are not in line with the above rules, without giving reasons, notifications, or explanations to anyone.
2.17 The admin/moderators have caution over banning members.
